MAC Performance all the way. Great price, chrome tube and polished air box. No body can beat that.

i have UPD with volant ram air in the bottom. i like it because its closed up and dosnet suck up hot air from under the hood. heat shields can only do so much. i would use volant too.

I have a Airaid Intake Tube, eBay heat shield, and K&N conical filter. I picked up about 10 rwhp and rwtq. Total cost was under $200.

On a side note, I pulled my K&N off the truck to clean this weekend. I had to run aroound with the cheapo paper/cloth filter that came with the eBay shield package. The difference is night and day. The truck responds much better to the K&N.

My 1500HD came with an AFE Force-II Intake. Not bad, but I have nothing stock to compare it with.

Same with my Volant. I did not notice the drone before because I had the exhaust done at the same time on my old rig. Havent done the exhaust on the 05 yet and yes, definitely get a bit of a drone out of the intake though.

I double whammied myslef with my last rig with the Magnaflow AND Volant intake....Drone was fierce and drove me nuts on the highway. I am going Aerochamber on this one.
