I have the stock box with a molded plastic ram air scoop that is placed in the tow hook hole. It's stock quiet and gave me a solid tenth in the 1/4. Do a search for my posts if you want to see pictures, btw I molded the scoop on my vacuum forming fixture.

hmm i thought magnaflows were supposed to drone bad...i want to replace my series 40 d.f. becuase it drone reallys bad cruising, im sure the k&n fipk doesnt help things out, and now that i have headers and an ory that really doesnt help. i was leaning towards magnaflow or spintech....but maybe they arent any better?

I have the same exact setup on my truck and it works good for the money IMO I only have 130 in mine cause I got the Airaid for 50 bucks.

if you want to get away from the drone get a borla muffler....imo.... or maybe a aerochamber.... I have been reading alot about this aerochamber it is almost convincing me....

My JBA cat back, that uses two magnaflow mufflers doesn't drone at all. It sounds stock when cruising on the highway, but when you stab it it yells.

My magnaflow setup has very little to no drone... My old fox body mustang had a set of Mac mufflers and the drone killed me...

I found a TRUE FLOW tube and filter for $100 and then added a VOLANT RAM AIR TUBE and gained low end, close to .1 and MPG. Best thing is it looks so stock that people have no idea........
