Default cold air intakes

wanting to buy new cold air intake wanting to know what the best one you guys have had luck with, i have a 4.8l v-8 with a 5speed

they're all pretty much the same. I'd spend money elsewhere before you do an air intake. I have a K&N FIPK and it was worth the $100 I paid on ebay but I wouldn't have bought it before a custom tune, or efans if I could do it again.

I think the new GMPP CAI looks the best but i am biased

I like my Outlaw CAI because it's totally sealed from the engine bay and pulls from the space in front of the fender well. Of course it's not the only one that does that, just the one I chose. They now come with a smoother intake tube and a dry filter. Bought mine a couple month too early I guess, but still happy.

I second the Outlaw. Nice and quiet tone from inside the cab. The K&N FIPK I had on my '00 gave me a headache.

I'd vote for the GMPP great looks and top notch quality in a sealed filter design!
Not cheap though.
