Default Cometic Head Gaskets 5.3l

Im going to be installing a set of P/P 243 heads milled .040 on my stock 5.3l bottom end. Cam is a Lunati voodoo 222/228 .567/.567 113 + 4
I want to run a set of thin Cometic head gaskets...what part number do i need? The smallest bore size i seen was a 3.910" is that ok to run a standard 5.3l bore?

I dont know part numbers, but a cometic .040 3.910 bore is what I used. worked good. You can call them and they will make a 3.78 bore gasket. but I wouldnt go lower than a .040" gasket.

yes that is the correct gasket . your gaskets must match your heads- not ur bore. i have the same project your building..

If you milling your heads- why dont you go all the way.
- your going to run a mid lift cam- you can prob get away with .0450 or .0500 w/out any PVC issues..

Thanks for the input guys!

I only milled the heads .030 because they will most likely be transferred over to my LQ9 at some point down the road.
