When I was looking into building a 4.8 Cam only truck I wanted to go with a custom 216/220 with higher lift and on a 112 LSA. I had the 216/220 in my 5.3 crew cab and loved it. I contacted comp cams and this is what they sent me. Might be pretty good little cam for the 4.8.
can make a cam that is close to the XR269HR. It would have 214/220 degrees at
.050 with 559/564 lift. The grind number would be 3710/3713 HR112

well... now that were getting into higher lift i might be getting into some trouble (at least the way i understand it) ...
the more lift i go the more problems with emissions i will have, am i wrong?smog is a big factor, does anyone know what are safe lift measurements to go by in the state of CA?
