a 3000 stall will barely even be noticed in your truck. I would go with a 3000 and the bigger of the two cam choices. That and with 4.10's will still be able to pull stock pulling capacity and be able to spin the tires off the line.

That is what I was thinking/hoping-onebadrubi, but don't want to have all that work in it and not turn out the way I want.
ap2002, what motor did you have that 212/218 in and what did it sound like at idle?
Do yall know if the pacesetter longtubes and off road y pipe from texas speed will bolt in place of the factory stuff?

i have the same setup as you want i like the 216/220 in my truck but you def need a stall

Does that mean it will be a turd until then with that cam? I was lookin for the "mild mannered driver" snake eater metioned. I do carry a four 4-wheeler in the bed sometimes and have had a ski boat behind the truck. I don't want to make it useless. Thanks for all the info.

that is the cam i ran for a few years you will need more stall i had a 3000 then a 3200 then a 3400 and it worked great with all of them and these were with 5.3s and 6.0s
it will be a great set up but if i were you i would get more stall
