F no. i was cruising and one just decided to break on me. thanks alot COMP, now i hope nothing is F'ed up


i shut the motor off like 2 seconds after i heard the tick tick tick... what yall think ? what should i be looking for

ill be puling the head tomorrow

i won't be using the Comp 918's in the future from all the stories i hear.

No offense but another one bits the dust I had one break on me to, then I switched to dual springs. If your gonna pull the head look to see if the piston hit the valve.Hopfully it didn't drop.

I am curious to as if ti was the black ones with the blue lines or the new silver ones.. I have been running the new ones without issue, so far about 6k on them.. (knock on wood)

after reading all the stories about the 918s(new and old) I don't see why anyone would put those in their engine...
