Flyer, what cam is it that you have? the 212/218 high lift? I'm running the 02' LS-6(204/218) @.050" and .551/.547) and I thinking of doing a 5.7 or 6.0 this spring and summer. so I kind of shopping cams too.

I'm pretty sure Flyer and RED2K both have the 216/220 .53x lift cam.

did you lose any low-end? the ls-6 cam felt like it lost some to about 3k. I really need a converter the one in the burbs stall @ 1700 and will only flash to 1800-1900 rpm so its not very quick out of the hole. the ls-6 cam was put in w/ ls-6 timing chain and I 've heard they are 2 degrees retarded so its not helping low and mid.
I thinking maybe a custom cam w/ rpm lobes, 208-212 intake and 216-218 ex. w/ 115 LSA +2,3

Can't you get the 216/220 in the high lift XER lobes like the 212/218? That cam on a 114+2 is what I am looking at doing if I can get a set of heads.

IT isnt a monster by any means but big enough to need a tune
