Ack,

Drive by wire doesn't have the set screw

If we can't come up with an answer check the www.Corvetteforum.com. They also have drive by wire and almost everyone there has a bigger cam than you and could give advice or just do a search. Great board with nice people.

You'll probably need a small hole in the TB to allow more air at idle. Or just get your tune.

If its drive by wire on that Denali, then you'll find that it will learn the idle and throttle like a vette does. Just start it, let it idle for a few minutes. Put it in gear and hold brake and let it learn idle without giving it gas. Do the same thing with the A/C on and off. See if it runs better afterwards.

So, on the drive-by-wire, the PCM will learn and it will open the TB accordingly at idle??

Somewhat, yes. It will idle poorly immediately after starting, but after a few startup cycles and learning when it needs to do to get a good idle, it will run better. It will not run as well as it would if you had some professional tuning.

Sounds good. I am shifting at about the same rpm's as you are. I just can't really remember the 3-4 shift since it's not very important.

I got mine shifting something like this

6400 1-2
6500 2-3
6300 3-4

It still feels like it's short shifting.

I know what you mean Flyer, but since the only thing I have in the tranny is shift kit and servos and not a fully built one I don't wanna push it to much, I'm saving for a built tranny though .
