good luck. yes soak the lifters if you are on the fence about it. a friend of mine installed dry ones and had some serious problems and had to buy a bunch of new **** just to fix what hed done.

oh, soak for at least 6 hours. over night is best. but 6 hours should be ok. thats what i heard from a custom engine builder at summit racing in cali. 6 hours, no less. just my input... good luck

well got her all finished, and honestly i'd rather pull the whole engine then to be leaning over in my engine bay fighting those damn head bolts... but anyways everything went good, i did have to notch my 05 water pump a little bit to fit in a 00 style thermostat. so its not tuned for these heads, would i be running lean or rich??
