i think the lq4 has 9.0-1 still as well as the lq9 having 10.0-1.

Thanks a ton guys!!! I'm putting this engine in my camaro with a T-REX and all the boltons. Of course I am upgrading the rod bolts to ARP, but it should scream, I accomidated the extra lbs. of the iron block by putting a tubular k-member and manual rack and a/c and heater delete. It's a shame I picked this longblock up from a buddy @ a dealership as a takeout for $400.00 with only 10,000 miles on it.

300 @ 4400 rpm
