What's the most ya'll would go and stay 'streetable'?

Summit Racing will tell you 11to1 or less with aluminum heads and good gas..(93)10 1/2 with iron heads

any body have any good calculators for compression ratio and what the deck height is for a stock ls1. 02 if it matters any.

Anyone think that 12 or just under would be to much for pump gas?

It depends on your DCR not your SCR. If this is your 5.3 with that big *** cam, and depending on the valve events then 12:1 SCR might be okay. I've heard that you want to keep your DCR down to around 9.5:1 for pump gas. You're just going to have to watch your timing in the upper rpms.

Give me the specs (i.e. bore, stroke, comp. height, cc volume, piston dish/dome, gasket thickness, valve events etc.) and I'll calculate your DCR. You can keep it to PM's if this is
