Default Comp's LSr series

From their website:

Taking advantage of latest developments in GM LS cylinder head technology, 27 new Three-Bolt LSR™ Cams offer the broadest powerband & best high rpm power available

To maximize performance of the already impressive LS engine series, engineers at COMP Cams® have recently developed their most powerful camshafts ever offered for this generation of GM engine, along with the most application coverage in the industry. Over three years in the making, the new COMP Cams® LSR™ Camshafts are a series of hydraulic roller cams that use the most modern lobe designs for popular GM LS engines and offer superior performance and durability for both cathedral and rectangle port GM LS cylinder heads.

Designed for radical street performance and all-out race applications, these aggressive profile cams take advantage of today’s newer and better flowing aftermarket cylinder heads. The COMP Cams® LSR™ Camshafts feature higher exhaust duration and overall lift, making them the right choice for engine builders looking for the most advanced camshaft designs you can purchase in an off-the-shelf cam. With this increased exhaust duration and overall lift, the modern, aggressive lobe profiles of these cams offer the broadest powerband and the most top-end horsepower of any LS cams ever created by COMP Cams®.

These camshafts even have a valve spring and lightweight tool steel retainer designed specifically for them by the COMP® engineering team – the #26926 Ultra Dual Valve Spring and the #1779 Lightweight Tool Steel Retainer (see 2009 COMP Performance Group™ New Products Brochure).

Initially developed for three-bolt timing gear cams found in many GM LS1, -2, -6 & -7 engines, the LSR™ Cams were designed from a list of successful COMP Cams® custom grinds for LS engines, offering the end user the same camshaft choice as the professional engine builder. For more information about the COMP Cams® LSR™ Camshafts for GM LS Engines or any other COMP Cams® product, call us at 1-800-999-0853, or visit us online at www.compcams.com.
I haven't found a whole lot of info or reviews of this series on the web and haven't seen many people run them.

The durations are bigger and the lift is higher than you would normally think of.

Anyone got any information on these?

I've got a 281LR HR13 in my 408 but it's still sitting on the stand waiting for more parts. It's designed for cathedral port heads and large cubes.
