Google is your friend.. Trust me, if the slip joint is a good one you won't need any thing other then the clamps..

you cannot eat your cake AND then have your cake! Once you eat the cake, you no longer have the cake because it has been eaten. Hence the reversal... just makes more snse.

Just curious... does ANYONE know is someone here has added the merge collector?

First time i have heard of them having that as an option.

You night go over to ls1tech and search around and see if any f bods have them.

Yea and I might even go that route, there is a really good shop near here that does cheap *** work. They welded in my muffler for $20 and it has never had a problem

None of the truck guys has the merge collector on the truck LPP's. Maybe kooks or ARH.. You are not going to be able to tell if you have them or not.. Please don't go and have the Y welded to the headers.. Then you can't get it off without ruining the headers.. Last time, the slip fit will be FINE...

Here are my "merge collectors".... basically what i did was cut off the flange that came with the headers and welded on a 3.0->2.5 reducer and added a Vband.
