Default Converter question

I have an 02 5.3 ext. cab. I e-mailed Vig. and asked them about the 2800 stall. The guy e-mailed back and basically told me that he did not recommend that high of stall for my truck because of the weight and something about the tow package. Anybody have an ext. cab with a higher stall? If so what stall would you guys recommend? thanks

The guy at Precision told you the truth. Because our trucks are so heavy, a small diameter 245mm converter like a Vig 2800 will feel a lot looser than a larger 278mm converter like the Yank Truck Thruster 3000. Also, the Yank TT3000 uses the GM factory Trailblazer clutch to give you lots of towing capacity.
