Question Coolant overflow hose

Got a question guys I installed a FIPK tonight and while I was putting the shield in I noticed a hose was not connected to anything it is the one that is coming off of the coolant tank and it is the hose that is right under the cap to the tank my question is does this hook to anything or does it stay off I was not sure I looked around and could not find any hookups.

I'm pretty sure that is just a vent tube that you're talking about. It's just a little rubber hose right? Maybe like 1/2" in diameter?

I put the VR stack on a AFE set up and imagine that you are having the same problem I did...the VR sticks out of the TB too far and your tube won't fit, right? If that is your problem, I have a fix that is working like a champ for me. I took a piece of 60 grit sandpaper and layed it on a very flat surface and took the face of the VR that sitcks out of the TB and swirled it around in circles until I had "machined" it down unitl I had ~1/16" left sticking out of the TB, making sure that it was even all the way around. I then slid the intake pipe down and in front of that puppy, made sure the pipe was centered, clamped everything down and was good to go. Hope this helps.
