Corsa Exhaust
I have been searching & reading for a couple hours trying to figure out how to redo my exhaust. What do you think about the side exit Corsa Sport Exhaust? I already have Pacesetter LT headers, Pacesetter y-pipe is on the way. I have heard the clip of the 5.3L on the website but I was wondering what it would sound like with LT headers without cats? Does anybody know if the Corsa exhaust will bolt right up with the Pacesetter y-pipe? Thanks in advance.

I just put that system on my 02 Sierra, sounds awesome, Im not sure about the Pacesetter and no cats, I would figure that you would need a bit of back pressure, the Corsa is straight thru, and it rips at full throttle, with my factory exhaust, cats manifolds.
Your motor looks pretty stock, as far as intake, cams and head work, so I would wonder how it would run at partial throttle, with no back pressure. I know with my 96 350 Vortec, I put a Dynomax Cat BAck on it with no cat and it sound cool but ran like ****, so I took the test pipe out and put the cat back on and it ran a 100% better.

if you have long tubes, do not go with the sport. i highly recomend going with the touring if you are running long tubes. they sound beautifull, but they can be obnoxious to neighbors, etc. as for chosing corsa, that's my first pick.

I Second The Corsa Touring...
.... I really like mine.
The Corsa Sport Is Pictured Here.
The Touring has some packing added. It is supposed to be the same material as Cadillac uses in their STS cars exhaust systems and will not show signs of burning out until 300K miles. As you can see the packing does not get in the way of flow.

Illnali had the sport with as&m lt headers and it sounded badass take those damn cats off and tell the neighbors to . I will be going back to my racing bullets and no cats when I get my dynatechs on the neighbors already hate for waking them up at 5 in the morning when I leave for work its pretty loud with the cutouts open.
