Default Corvette Servo Installed

Finally got around to installing KDS bought vette servo's today. Just the 1-2 and did not install any shims from the Transgo kit I also have. Took me about an hour with not major problems. Good thing the kit came with all the o-rings and seals. I needed a couple of them.

What I thought was TM in my truck now appers to mostly been slip from 1 to 2nd shift. The servo definatley firmed up 1 to 2 and 2 to 3. My truck only has 20K miles on it and the 1 to 2 shift was horrible at WFO but firm anywhere else. Its now firm both part throttle and WFO. I wouldn't want any harder shifting.

According to G-timer I gained .1 second quarter from 14.40's to 14.30's in 4wd launches. 0-60 times show the same. 6.0's to 5.90's.

Figure I'll hold off on the transgo kit until I get a tune with TM reduced/removed.

Good to hear.

I always wanted to try one of those but never got around to it.

Try and figure out a way to launch under some boost and watch those 0-60 times drop like a rock. On 5-6psi (at launch) I was getting 0-60 times in the 3.7-3.99 range. Granted I'm running more boost but you get the idea. It's fun as hell

You're right. I'm not holding the brake to build any boost. I should be able to build all that I can 5-6psi in 4wd and launch. Even with the stock converter. Tried it couple times in 2WD and just smoked the tires through 1st and half of second. I'm still a bit leary of torquing it up in 4WD. Bit afraid of breaking my daily driver Will soon though

Yeah, saw your video, sick stuff. I'm used to rear wheel drive launches and wheel hop, gonna take this AWD stuff slowly. Just the torque steer I feel in the launches I'm doing is unsettling. If I get wheel hop from one side to the other in the front I'm really gonna be back peddling quickly.

I dio the Transgo +vette servo 4-5 months a go and I love it! I used one washer in the 1-2 accum and I can bark second If I get on it. It was well worth the money plus it helped out with me being abe to remove TM a little safer!

Do it!

Down that way from time to time, riding the bike at Sharpe's. Don't think I could miss you if I saw your truck. I'll give a honk if I see ya.
