Question, should I wait and install a transgo shift kit until I get my stall converter? Would this save me some money on labor, or is it a unrelated install? What is the cost of labor of doing one at a time compared to doing them together? thanks...

 

Do them at the same time.Also yu will need a tune and remove100%of tq mgmt or yu will not be happy with the results.

 

I agree. Wait and do it all at once. I should have mine done within the next few months. I have the converter sitting in my living room just waiting for a day off to do the install. The shop that I am using here in Houston, does the converter install for about 225 and vette servo and transgo (plus parts for the servo and transgo) for 400. Other places may be higher or lower, but this is a highly reputable speed shop.

Oh yeah, and definitely have the new custom tune sitting by waiting for the final install.

 

I know this isnt all the info you need but I payed $289.28 for install of Transgo,vette servo,cooler,fluid,and filter. If you plan on doing a stall in like a couple of months I would just wait untill then but if its gonna be like 6 months or a year untill you do the stall Id get the Transgo done now but thats me. Id call the place doing it and ask them if it is gonna save you some money.
