Default crack in my jba headers

there is a crack on my driverside header, and i dont think warrenty is going to cover it.

the crack is about an inch long and is visable threw the wheel well, and my truck sounds like ****. My question is can i just weld it or am i going to have to replace it. ill try and get some pics

you can try welding it, but it will more than likely only fix it temporarily.

Yes, weld it.
Drill both ends of the crack with a small drill bit first, this will keep the crack from spreading.

ER309 filler should do the trick.

Its probably too thin to stick weld, use MIG or TIG, id suggest TIG if you have access to a Tig machine.

im going to try and get warranty from them tomorow. but reading the warranty policy on line it sounds like theres only a 1year factory and any thing ells has to go threw the retailer. i bought them from summit, so tomorow im calling JBA and Summit to see what they can do for me. im usualy not that lucky so i was wondering about allternitives.

ill let every one know how it goes.
i just whant my truck to stop sounding like **** (crying in my beer) lol.

but on the other hand i could just buy long tubes. and start over on a new exhaust system. choises
