Critique this 5.3 setup
I am about to trade my Jeep in for a Silverado 4x4, 5.3, single cab stepside. It will be used off road, and for towing my car. It will be a dd. This is what I'm thinking on:
LT's, ported stock heads, 222/222, 3200 stall, bolt ons.
I have no idea what gears come with it. I'm currently looking at 3 different trucks, '03-'05. I want to keep good low end torque and it will be lifted with bigger wheels/tires. Don't know what size yet, it still needs to be able to tow a trailer. Of course I want a decent lope, but not too radical. Would this be a good, mildish all around daily driver setup?

yes I aggree you come down on the cam and stall size. You will be suprised. You can always spray a small 75-100 shot to pick up the HP you would have lost on the little bit bigger cam if your trying to also make some good track passes with it.
And most likely you will get 3.73 gear ratios.
