I'm Jealous! I've always wanted a MIG and some room to use it! Nice looking exhaust pieces! Are those resonators or the round-style mufflers?

Round style mufflers. They are what I had on the current exhaust after the Corsa to quieten it down. They may or may not go back on. Depends on how the big Magnflow sounds.

Shouldn't be TOO bad with the cats that came with your Dynatechs. It'll probably sound kinda exotic with that X-pipe methinks, like the Z06.

Nice. Looks like its going to be a nice system.
What muffler is that? 14568? Those others look like round mufflers.
Practice practice parctice, once you get the heat and wire speed set, you'll be laying down some rolls of dimes in no time .
I love welding SS, preferably Tig (hense my name)

keep up the good work.

Wanting it to have a distinctive note but very quiet. I like hearing the blower and the little tire chirps and 2nd gear squeals out cruising around. Loud is for the cutouts

.030 stainless wire. Tri-mix gas. 90%helium, 7.5%Argon, 2.5%Co2. It welds very nicely.

Yes a Magnaflow 14568. I've got a whole 2lb spool of wire and tank of 75/25 worth of practice done on some regular steel exhaust pipe but need more obviously. Pipe is hard to do. Can't seem to keep the angles right going in circles. It shouldn't look to bad when I get done. So long as it doesn't leak or break I'll consider it a success.

I wanted a TIG but a bit more pricey, I can't weld, and a MIG will do all the other things around the house that may need it.

I think stainless is easier to weld because its harder to burn through. lol I can run perfect beads on stainless, but have to concentrate more on mild steel.
