Question:
Where has everyone placed their electric cutouts? I cant bring my self to cut my y pipe like some do. I was thinking about having it welded right past the collector from the Y. Will there be much sound difference?

Not only is the y pipe placement important, but where you put the cut out too. Find a place where the cut out motor can be protected by the chassis or frame. Bring the cut out with you when you get the y pipe installed.

I already have a kooks Y pipe that came with my headers. I plan on taking the cutout to the muffler shop and getting them to weld it on
