Default Cutout or Catback? + poll

From what i read people get insane gains from an open cutout i was just wondering which path i should go?

eventually gonna have cam heads and headers...

Insane? maybe a few-15hp? Is there a reason you can't do long tube headers? I think getting the exhaust in general free (er) flowing would be better for starters, beginning at the exhaust manifolds.

catbacks are a waste of money IMO.

Best is a cutout and a stock muffler. Noise when you want it and stock quiet otherwise.

Well when we opended the exhaust cut-out the dyno showed 14 Ponies more. Then when we removed the air filter it showed 3 Ponies more on the 3rd run. they are out of order 1st run left alone the 2nd run shows final run w/exhaust cut out open and no filter and 3rd is with cat open and filter on. thats just the way it was put on the dyno sheet

No biggie I am glad you enjoyed it. It's the Ladies Chariot (Lady3bglover) its her truck. but the torque didnt frop if you look at the graph its not in order its pull 1 then 5 then 4. thats just the way that it was printed out.
