Cutout Placement opinions

Cutout Placement opinions
I have been thinking about adding a Cutout to my exhaust setup. I was just wanting some opinions. I am wanting to put it right after the Y-pipe in the section of straight pipe before the first muffler. Take a look at the pics below, I am wondering if the placement will do anything other than make some noise...
Here is my complete system
Here is a pic where I want to add the cutout, right after the Y-pipe. It is pretty much a straight piece of pipe before the muffler.
Here is another pic of the Y-pipe..

It'll make a LOT of noise lol. Honestly, I think you'll see a little difference, but not anything substantial. The flowmaster on my truck is robbing me so bad of lowend with the full exhaust. Yeah I know it's a flowmaster, but still...
Are you going to do an electric cutout or keep it simple and take off the flange when you want to? The ladder of the two is easy and seals a lot better.

It might net you some decent gains, but that's something to tell on the dyno ya know. When I said substantial I was talking 10-15 like turbo guys see. They usually see more, but you get my drift. If you like to romp on it on the weekends a little it's fun to have a cutout

I have heard that you want to put it as far back towards the muffler as possible to help from losing low end torque. I'm about to install another one and am going to try and put it farther back because it DID seem to hurt a little bit down low. IMO
