Noticed my oil pressure was acting fishy driving home last night. 20psi at idle, only 40 at high rpm.
Drained the oil because I was going to try some 15w40 and decided to tear apart the filter for ***** and giggles and managed to cut the **** out of my finger in the process.
Barely 1k miles on this engine

First I am going to try to figure out what went wrong. I shouldnt be having this problem. I read something somewhere about locking the converter up causes excess pressure and forces the torque converter forward causing lateral strain on the bearings or something...
Earlier today I was dead set on getting a nitrous kit.....but since I will probably have to put my 5.3 back in while I take apart this thing (truck is my only vehicle), I may just have to go turbo....
If my crank is screwed for some reason, turning my 408 into a 370 would be pretty simple.
