Default Damn 4L60E

OK. So my tranny starts slipping a while back (2nd real bad and 4th a little), no big deal, just drive it until it quits. Keep in mind I have a TCI shift kit, TCI billet servo and 4.10 gears. Well, the other day after I slow down for a moron driver, it drops into 1st and never upshifts.
So I buy a rebuild kit w/ Raybestos clutches. The first clutch pack (bellhousing end of tranny) was completely toasted, all black and no friction material left. So I rebuild the tranny, and have it double checked by a tranny shop while I put it back together.
Now I have 2nd and reverse. WTF!?!? I also installed a TCI SF3000 when I had the tranny out. Please tell me whats wrong!
Do I have a shift solenoid gone bad? That is what I am thinking.

Also, can someone please give me step by step instructions for how to hook up a tranny cooler (I got the TCI economy model) for max efficiency. The instructions in the kit are very vague.

THANKS!!!

With the tranny cooler (if you never had one this is part of your failure problem) you plumb it so oil flows through radiator tank cooler first then through aux cooler then back to tranny.

Are there any codes in the PCM for the tranny? A guy I work with switched out a torque convertor and it wouldnt shift after that. Had a code, cleared it out and it shifted fine.

Well, went to school today and hooked the Tech 2 to it. The solenoids are activating, so my problem lies in the valve body mechanically. This sucks *****.

Snoman, what kind of fittings and **** do I need?

The fitting you need should come with the aux cooler "kit". Mine always has. For hose make sure you use high pressure hose not vacum hose.

Naw. Factory 60E. TCI shift kit, TCI servo, TCI SF 3000 TC, and now a Raybestos rebuild kit.

Thanks snoman. Will have to check it out some more.

dont put fuel line on there for tranny cooler line. make sure it is hose that will support oil. it also needs to accept at least 40 psi and hot oil.
