I'm just trying to give guys some more options to get around the plastic truck intakes. I have no earthly idea if this will practically work, however on paper it should make a great setup especially for FI applications. I doubt it will fit under the hood of a car, but it was originally designed for trucks anyways.

LS1 5.06 L
LS6 5.19 L
Truck 4.00L
Edelbrock Vic Jr ?????

On my install, I haven't noted any softer pedal feel... but I have what is probably a fairly soft combo anyway... 402, AFR225's, 3000 stall yank, HEAVY *** truck, turbo cam, etc. I know that elbow adds a lot of plenum volume!
