Your headers could be the best kept secret

I think im sold on getting these, i was gona get some stainless ones because if something can rust where i live it will rust and rot right out. My flowmaster lasted like 1.5-2 years after i bought the truck and wasnt long on there before that. Anyone know how much longer the coating will help the headers last if i get the headers (probably get them anyways because of the price). Also wondering if you can buy a ball and socket flange that will bolt to my CORSA or should I find another factory y-pipe. I want to keep the stock y-pipe just in case, never know.

Whats the best way to use my stock cats with the DC headers? Should I get a ory and hack it up to use with my stock cats? Any other suggestions for a 2wd 5.3 with a single 3 inch exhaust?

I used stock bolts but bought stock gaskets from autozone. $10 for felpro gaskets for my truck. Not bad if you ask me. On the valvetrain noise, It's fucken loud! I actually got scared cause I never heard valvetrain that loud. Having an engine with 160k prolly didn't make it quieter.
