Default Dead Spots

Hey Guys I need some help!! I have a '01 GMC ccsb 1500 HD. It had sat up for about a year until the last 4 or 5 months. I just put a new transmission in now it acts like it is locking and unlocking, but thats just one of my problems. Since the truck sat up for so long I replaced fuel filter, spark plugs (NGK), running MSD wires, cold air intake and Granatelli MAF. Now to the point When I'm driving the truck acts like it is starving for power then it has what I call dead spots tripping ses light for 3 cycles then goes off. I run 93 oct because spark knocks on anything less. I have no tune and no cats. Thanks for any help. sorry for the novel

i'm no expert but that granatelli maf could be setting off missfires causing the trans and engine to act up.
