Wow, haven't seen this thread in a long time...just noticed that "CEL" "Check Engine Light" isn't on the list, as well as the "controversial" NNBS New New Body Style lol (GMT900 I believe)

The NNBS threw me off as well as the GMT900, figured those where work truck models. Go figure.

LOL, yea, when I first joined LS1tech I didn't know what "NBS" stood for, then when we started using "NNBS" I was like "what?", but as long as everyone can communicate it's all good. Somewhere in the general GM section there's a list of the GMT800, GMT900, etc....I need to brush up on those myself...

KOEO...refers to the "old" accessory designation...Key On...Engine Off.

MIL = Malfunction Indicator Lamp
ABS = AntiLock Brake System
SRS = Supplemental Restraint System
ATF = Automatic Transmission Fluid
SCR = Static Compression Ratio
DCR = Dynamic Compression Ratio

I think CEL= Check Engine Light, would also be SES= Service Engine Soon

AFM - Active Fuel Management is another one, a lot of people use it interchangeably with DoD, which is wrong when discussing GM product.
