deleting cats(how much tq loss?)
cutting these damn cats off would make it so much easier to weld the y pipe to the headers lol.. how much loss do you see down low? I was thinking of cutting them out and putting cutouts there for the track.
but if its to much loss down low then ill work around it someway..
any dyno losses or gains?

No dyno numbers for you here, but I already have a big exhaust (supercharger) and I did notice quiet a difference down low...loss that is. HOWEVER...I have been SD Tuning this week, what loss I did have is gone and I have gains at that. Take that for what it is worth, my mail order tune that I did have could have been that far off or SD Tuning has fixed whatever low end problems I did have. Get rid off them I say!

I"m running a Wait 4 Me tune w/ intake & exhaust w/ gutted cats & Aerochamber muffler. I noticed absolutely no loss with gutted cats and it definately picked up some power. The low end is more powerful now then it ever has been in the past.

the truck just sounds so damn good with them off lol.. im thinking about cutting them out and putting cutouts in their place lol
i plan on getting a 2600-3k stall next year, but thats still iffy...
its just so easy to cut them off and get them outta the way so I can weld the ypipe to the collectors

Get rid of them it definately woke up my heavy as truck up top. I didnt notice in loss down low but then again the smallest stall I have had in my truck is 3000. Get a stall its not that bad really. I have the saem truck as you and I offroaded, towed and everything else with my TCI 3000 stall. It lasted 7 months but I think TCI's are just POS's IMO since I beat the **** out of it and it caved. I went with a Fuddle this time and we will see what happens I really tough on my equipment though too(blown rear end, two blown trans, and a blown motor now).
