I been hearing some negative things about the quality of the NGK plugs maybe just a bad batch made it out to the market?

http://www.densoiridium.com/ and you can look up the part number for your application. For my 99 5.3 it's IT16 gapped at .050 and I've thought very hard about buying some but I want to know for sure if that u-groove in the ground electrode really helps.

They look cool but $11.99 per plug seems a bit steep. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" />

I have a set of IT24s waiting to be installed but I keep putting off the 4 and 1/2 hour job. I need the colder 24s because of the 5lb pulley. I'm running NGK BR7EFs right now--they took me the 4 1nd 1/2 hours to change.

They are expensive but they do not misfire. Probably not necessary uless you're running a s/c/turbo with high boost levels. My OEM plugs were fine with a 3lb pulley and got me into the high 12s.

Because he drives a lightning. I read in a magazine it is easier if you pull off the wheels and remove the fenderwells.
