Descreening the MAF
I done this to my 01 but at that time people saying that it did not help and the screen realy helped air flow, I was just wondering what views every one has on it 4 years later.

The screen is there to smooth the airflow over the sensor. If it is removed you run the risk of getting bad data from the maf which in turn will affect proper fueling. The small increase in airflow is not worth the risk of bad maf data to the pcm. I guess if you are running in SD all the time then it probably doesn't really matter since the data from the maf is being used.
