I ordered a vette servo from KDS Performance mid-late last week and it still hasnt come in the mail. I need it by tomorrow because I will have access to the tools to install it along with my B&M shift improver kit.

Is there anywhere in dallas/fort worth I can pick one up for around $20? (No dealers, just got a quote for $60 for the piston and $15 for the housing). I know KDS is in Arlington but they close at 4 and I get off work at 4.

I think you can buy them from a GM parts dept.

 

The vette servo requires no special tools, or any lifting, raising, or jacking of the truck to do. Unless you're lowered. Takes about 15min to perform. You can do it any time. Do you not have any tools?

You know that KDS is in Arlington TX, dont you? Right in between Dallas and Ft Worth.

I think you should drive over and find them. Last time I saw their address, they were just off 360 a bit south of I-30.

Most trans shops keep them in stock. They should only be 20-25 pretty much anywhere.

 

Oh yeah. Well, I stopped by KDS once before and found no one there during the middle of the day. Another time, I found a minimum wage girl there just to answer the phones. No shop, no visible inventory, just a little office in a strip center.

 

That's kinda scary ....
