Well I just got my predator and am trying to figure out how to do some basic tweaking. I would really appreciate the info or help, so here are my questions.

1.) How do I change the engine rev limit? I would like the truck to shift at at least 6000 rpms. I changed the rev limit settings to 6000 but the truck doesnt always shift at 6000 when I floor it. Do I have to play with the shift point settings to do this? I dont really want the truck to ALWAYS shift at 6000. ONLY at wide open throttle.

2.) Is 6000 rpms the HIGHEST I can set my rev limit?, not that I want to. I noticed the predator seems to only allow reving to 6000!

3.) I installed the basic diablo tune. Does this adjust the tranny shift points? What about shift firmness?

Do I need to manually play with these settings?

4.) If I press the tow/haul mode, with the basic diablo tune, will my truck drive normal like its in tow/haul mode, or is this the way to activate performance tranny settings.

5.) Finally does anyone have any numbers then can post or email me with THEIR OWN settings? I am specifically interested in TRANNY SHIFT POINTS at mph and rpm, and SHIFT LINE PRESSURE.

6.) What about torque management? Is there a way to delete or adjust this? Is this already programmed into the diablo basic tune?

7.) How do I adjust for a 160 degree thermostat?


Anyway I REALLY would appreciate any answers to my questions. The truck seems to shift stronger and is a bit more responsive.

Maybe someone, including me could work on developing a diablo predator FAQ. There are so many ways to tune it and the manual with the predator is VERY BASIC. If anyone is interested in helping to put together a FAQ let me know.

Yeah just got the diablo on my doorsteep today, loaded up the predator program seams give it ***** in the mid range torque. Anything with the predator you could let me in on RED2K I would appreciate it. I have pretty much same Qs, What does tow/haul do with PCM flashed???
