Diablo question

Diablo question
I got a Diablo and installed it today. I took it easy since I only had 87 octane in the truck, but felt no difference in power. It idled a little higher, and slightly firmer shift points (but not as firm as in tow/haul), but felt almost no difference in the 6.0. Does the PCM have to learn the programming? I didn't have this problem on previous cars that I have installed a programmer on (never had a Diablo, tho). I got a really good deal on this, but should I uninstall or just leave in place and wait til the cash comes in for a Nelson?

I edited my post to avoid confusion. I meant that it had never been installed before. Yes the Diablo "marries" itself to the truck, so that it cannot be used for another truck.

Hot Tune
I don't have the Preditor Tuner, but most guys that have them say you need the 93 Hot Tune to notice any real difference. I think you can get a free upgrade by e-mail. You might want to try that instead of "throwing the thing away" or shelling out another $500.00 for another ECM.
I've read that the Nelson, Wester's, etc. are "invisable" to the dealer if you happen to take it in for engine related problems that might cause them to hook up a Tech 2, or re-flash, but these seem to be the "Tuners of Choice" around the Hi performance guys because they are much more "adjustable".
With the Preditor, you can always revert back to stock programming before a trip to the dealer. I suppose you could do that with LS1 Edit, but what about the Nelson, Wester's, etc?
What are you guys thoughts?

No need to revert the truck back, as 02Denali said in another post. the dealership has to know what to look for and needs a reason to look. Just give them some BS about insurance hassles and different drivers or request no test drives.
