Did i make a Cam mistake?

let me start off with some backdrop:
my 05 silverado 5.3L needed to have the engine oil pump o-ring replaced, With 270,000 miles on my truck i decided that id much rather just replace the entire engine with a 6.0L motor, My truck is an ext. cab Long bed 4x4, i use it 90% of the time when its needed to haul lumber in the back, or tow a trailer with a small car on it, its not a play truck, its a "work" truck
i picked up a 02 model LQ4 engine, while it was out i replaced the gaskets all the way around, replaced the lifters valve springs, cam and pushrods, i chose the texas speed 220R cam because of recommendations that it was great for towing, the specs are 220/220 duration with .581 lift intake and exhaust, i did custom order mine with a 111 LSA for a tighter lobe seperation.
the only mods other than those i have are:
longtube headers
no catalytic converters
k&N CAI system
i was going after something that would help with towing, does that cam sound like i went alittle overboard? im starting to second guess myself on it.
right now i have the stock 3.42 gears front and rear im thinking that my next mods should be to swap to 4:10 gears front/rear, would that be a great improvement?
any help or advice would be appreciated, i welcome it all.

my stock stall was supposedly 1800-1900, i ordered a stall that was supposedly 2100 RPM on a 5.3L, im hoping that with a 6.0L it will be alittle higher, but should still be in a good range for towing, its not real common for me to tow a car trailer, normally its just a bed full of stuff, but i dont want to struggle towing an 18' trailer with a 4000lb vehicle on it. (trailers 2200lbs)

The cam in my crew cab is 218/224 on a 110 lsa, with a 3000 stall and the factory 3.73's it pulled just fine. Took off like it did stock and then really got moving after a little speed built up. I just had to rebuild the rear end and I made the swap to 4.11's and it really woke it up now. I pull an 18' car hauler with my 71 Camaro on it or my 99 Mustang GT drag car. It has made several trips from Texarkana to El Paso through the hill country and it just rolls on.
