Re: Diesel Swap
My 7300 lbs crewcab 4x4 with 33s went 15.08 spinning the tires half way down the track. If I was brave enough to put 4 et streets on it low 14s would'n t be a problem.Thats with Hot Edge Juice and Amsoil drop in filter, everything else is stock.I pull 20,000 lb trailers, plow snow with it and get 17.5-19 mpg.No more gasser pickups for me.

Yup, I live in Kemah, but I'm always in the Pasadena/DeerPark area for work and the occasional race. How bout you? Where you been?

Re: Diesel Swap
Still around, been racing my bike a lot over the last year or so. Just starting to get back in to the truck. Its getting dropped saturday and the new wheels should be here monday. I am thinking about getting a decent set of used headers for it then maybe a magnacharger or a Vortec. Thats right after I rob another bank. LOL
I had moved from Pasadena to Clear Lake and recently back to Pasadena. WE NEED to setup another locals truck meet before the summer is out. I had a good time at the last one. Maybe we could all meet at Clear Lake park on Nasa Rd 1 or something. Let me know. Later Bro

Re: Diesel Swap
Well Ive got a 2002 2500 HD extended cab 4x4, with the Duramax Deisel, with the 5 speed automatic Allison tranny. I put a muffler, and the new Preditor on it. I just took it to the local 1/8 mile track with a full 26 gallon tank I ran a 9.36 at 72 mph, with a 1.96 60'. Id say in a truck that weighs 2000 lbs less it would run a hell of alot quicker. Ive got about $500 in mods and my tow vehicle runs faster then my old 94 Z28 when it was stock.
