Difference from Flowmaster 40 Series & Super 40 Series?
Just wondering what the sound difference is between the two of these? I have heard that the Super 40 Series is Loud and I have hear that the Original 40 Series is louder. So which one is really the louder of the 2? I am lookin to dump it after the outlet from the muffler. I am plannin on running 2 Mufflers with an X-pipe. Let me know your thoughts please on which muffler is better in your opinion.
Thanks!
Thanks!

The original 40 series is louder, but doesn't flow as well as the delta flow 40 series. i was going to get the original 40 off ebay because they were so damn cheap but they are no longer making a single in single out in a 3". I think they are only making single in dual out in the original 40 series. So i got the delta flow 40 series, which im not sure if its a super 40 or not but paid $138 shipped for the pair off ebay. Not bad considering best local price was $84 each plus freight and 7-10 day wait. If you want the sellers name let me know and I will post it up for you.

i had a single 2 1/4" flowmaster 40 series dumped sounded better then stock but not loud at all so i went true duals with flowmaster super 40's very loud sets off car alarms n stuff very deep ive heard single 3 inch exhuast with super 40's and its very raspy a lil to raspy for me my dual 2.5" is perfect id defintly reconmend a super 40 over a 40 anyday although if your wantin the most HP you can get to id go with a more open exhuast magnoflow or somin like that doesnt have the flowmaster sound but they flow better and make more power jus my .02
