Default Direct Hits worth it?

Hi all, ? for ya. Since I am needing to change the plugs and wires, is it worth it to spend the extra dough for the direct hits ignition system? Noticeable difference? I read toms thread from awhile ago, seemed to be about 1mpg difference. Tom, is it still 229? or was it a deal you had? I called DirectHits, 269.00 for the set.
Thanks

I run the Direct Hits on both of my 8.1s and have seen good results with them. I did a mileage test while towing with the Suburban last year. It picked up just over 1 MPG after installed this and the Direct Hits. This was done on two trips to Canada (over 500 miles each way). Before these mods I was lucky to get 220-225 miles from a tank of gas while towing. After the mods I would always see 260-270+. Hopefully this goes closer to 300 with the Flex-a-lites I installed this week.

The package is $259.99 and you can save $15. by ordering online.
