dirtydingo ALT/PS bracket posible problem ??
will I'm building a 408 for my friend just recived the rototing from FedEX , and while I was looking at heads to buy , I contacted Richard @WCCH and told him what my set up was
I also told him that I bought the Holley Hi Ram intake
he said that this is a max effort max cubes intake and wont work will in my buddy's setup so I canceld the Intake
now , I want to bolt somthing else to the heads , the carb style intake is also not that good of a DD
so I went to the fast , but im going to have a problem with the alternator water pump nick
went to the dirty dingo website for a solution and found this bracket
as you can see there is just not enough contact area for the belt on the crank pulley, it might have some sliping with WOT pulls or or fast engine rev's
not to mention supercharger
so am I right thinking that way or not?
here is the stock bracket and you can see the contact area on the crank pulley
its like the dirty dingo is covering 25% and the OEM is covering 60-80% of the pulley
