if the maf is reading the air flow then it is going into the engine. the only way it coudln't is if the bypass valve opened into the atmosphere and i am sure it is like the whipple and is internal.

i am prety sure the blower is working, that is alot of airflow.

Interesting that you have never dyno tested one of your installs....it's not that I don't believe you, it's just that I would think if the results were so fantastic, the proof (Class-A, bitchin' dyno pull sheets with a Radix) would be an extremely powerful selling tool, wouldn't it? The fact that I don't see any dyno results, from anyone, well - it just strikes me as weird.

I would like to see some of the dyno sheets from your customers. Even if you haven't done the dynos yourself, surely you have access to their sheets, yes?

Fun guy,how about a 13.285 1/4mi at over 101mph in a Tahoe LT.Figure a race weight at about 5500lb and calculate the horsepower from there, roughly 445 rwhp.Magnacharger has a dyno and will probably give you a sheet when they dyno your truck. They have offered on numerous occasions to dyno my truck for free, but the distance is to great.I think your truck has a minor problem, that the guys at Magnacharger will easily find and correct.

I had my truck dynoed and it made 375 hp and 457 ft pounds of tq on a 100 degree day with 6.5-7 psi of boost. I figure in the right climate i should yeild closer too 400. Remember this is a high mileage 5.3. I think you should go on out to Magnacharger and let them look over your set up. 1 out of thousands sold tells me that there is a problem with your set up. I remember a outside company did a section in sport truck with a radix when they first came out and they proved gains in the 150+ range, this was a no biast company that had nothing to gain so I am sure they did not lie.

I would dyno test my installs if I had the 25+ gs to buy a dyno. We are taking donations if you would like to send some cash Magnacharger has a dyno and I am sure your truck will be on it. Then we can see what is going on.

I know John out at Magnuson, he will be out for a week or so but after that you should not have a problem getting in. The more I look at the graphs, the more I am sure there is something wrong here.....Please let me know when you make the appointment with magnacharger....I want to be there.

FunGuy, are you available tomorrow (friday the 28th)? I will be in all day, if you would like to take a trip to the San Fernando Valley I would like to take a look at your set up and see if we can figure something out. How close is your installer working with you? Have they had any comment on this? Please let me know if you can make it out tomorrow or next week. 818-340-1714 ask for Brian.

Is that a 6.0L? What mods other than a Radix?

Whitt is running a 5.3.

What about stopping by the shop tomorrow and letting us take a look at your truck?

Do you still have the sheet from your truck's dyno run? What year/model is it? What mods did you have done at the time of the run, other than the Radix? I am interested in seeing the sheet(s) so I can examine the characteristics of the powerplant.

Regarding dynoing....there are more than a couple of dyno shops here in San Diego - Mustang, DynoJet, and one other brand - so I know there must be a few up there, yes? I was quoted prices from $55-$85 dollars for a half-hour, a mere pittance compared to a $5,000 device with an ~$700 install. So why the lack of dyno runs, by even the customers themselves? Thousands of installs and no dynos? I am and continue to remain baffled.

Fun Guy I dyno'd my 4.8 with a light tune and got 389 rwhp out of it. now i am pushing over 400 rwhp. But before i could do that i had to get rid of that stupid superchip POS. My truck wouldnt even idle with that in there. My advice is go see Brian (blownchevy) and let him look at it. Then i would take it to Magnacharger if they want to see it. Tell them you want some kick back for all your troubles too

Tomorrow's out as I have commitments, but next week could work. The Valley is still quite a drive from here, though, I would not enjoy or may not even be able to make it twice (to you and then to Magnuson). What is it that you would plan on looking at/tinkering with?

I still want to see some dyno sheets.....
