DIY Supercharger
#20
The white blower in the photo over "Building the supercharger" is a 12 volt in-line engine compartment blower for a boat and is used for pulling vapors from the engine compartment of inboard engine boats. I have two of those in my boat. They are quite noisy. They sell for about $30. The white hose is vinyl bilge vent hose. Both are for ventilation, not for pressurizing. You can completely stop the air flow with your hand. However, the good thing about installing a marine blower in a car is that if you ever ran off the road and into a canal or a lake, the blower and hose are US Coast Guard approved.
