I had the ebay headers on my 09 silvy, the ones with the dummy cats, hump on the driver side header, 2.5" y pipe....

SO, one of my younger bro's has a 04 Silverado rcsb 4.8, and was wanting to mod a little. Told him to order part number blah blah blah from DNA and I got mine earlier in the year for like 300 shipped. So he ordered them.

I am pissed......unboxed them to put em on tonight, they have slip fit collectors now, no hump on driver side, no dummy cats, and the y pipe is now 3"! He got them for 334 shipped.

It rained us out as we were putting the o2's back in this evening, will post pics tomorrow. I tell ya, they look just like the Cal speed headers that just popped out.....

 

I hate the hump on mine. its completely unnecessary! Nice to see they changed it

 

Awesome news. And now we know that the sponsor who sells them on here can do better on his pricing, or lose a lot of business to a random Ebay seller...unless they are the same person, lol...

 

I agree it is totally unnecessary...never understood the reason for it?

 

Who's the sponsor on here who sells em? Are the collectors still the same size? I had them on my last truck and that hump was annoying....

They are really good quality for 300 bucks.. ive had them for 3 years and havent had a single problem with them. Well worth the money if you dont need 1 7/8" headers or somthing bigger
