Do I need bigger primaries???

Custom headers with 2" primaries into 3.5" or 4" merge collector. A 4.125" stroke will net you instant torque. That won't be a problem at all.

contact george kook and tell him you want his race series headers. they are what i have full stainless with 1 7/8 stepped to 2" with 3.5 collectors. they are fbody headers and fit with no issues. only thing you might encounter is having a Y or true duals fabbed up since the driverside header kicks out ward.

but you might want to contact him to see if they will clear your front DS. im 2wd so i dont worry about a front DS but i know for sure the passengerside wont have issues

oh yea expect to pay around 950 bucks for these headers

a 1 3/4 header will choke the **** out of your motor, i wouldnt even think of using them

btw...you can't just post that your building a 457 and not start an engine build thread! Need to see some pics and details and what not! This is N/A apparently so what are your goals?
