JJ I had trouble with them the first time hanging below the frame. I also had flanges welded on them so that may have been the cause. Although now I had the ypipe redone and it sits completely above the frame. It's a really tight squeeze with the tranny mounts but it sits about 1/4" above my flush mounted cross-member.

Nah there definitely is enough man. I run almost a 5/8 and it had no problems with the ypipe now. Matt (XLCoopLX) also has pacesetters I think and his don't hang below the frame.

are you sure there will be enough room with the cab being channeled?

are shorties just for sound?

I will have to look again under there. How big of a body drop are you going to do?

As far as shorties, they won't make a difference or sound much different either, but they'll look better under the hood if that's what you're needing.

When I had shorties they didn't do diddly, either for sound or performance...they looked decent at the time though
