Default do they make .060 4.8 pistons?
i got 4.8 from 2002 truck, taking it down thye said it had 42000 miles it more like 142000 miles , i have had it for 4 years, so i am going to rebuild it, been looking for piston i can find .040 but not .060 so do they make a .060 over thnaks

just an idea,it maybe be cheaper just to buy a used 4.8 or 5.3

If your gonna spend the money to bore it, might as well just punch it out .124 and use LS1 pistons. There is usually enough meat in the block for that and then you have a MUCH larger choice in pistons.
