I hear they have minimal drone. Of course if you dump it before the axel, you will hear some but over the axel or out through tips should be fine.

if you are going to keep the cats and put a hooker then you will have absolutely zero drone.... hooker with cats is a very quiet muffler, I would definately go with it.... I used to have hooker, no cats, and stock pipe run out the side and had zero drone too ,, then I re-did all my exhaust, now I am running Longtubes, and all 3"pipe, dumped before the axle and there is some drone now but still tolerable at certain rpms, but on the highway at crusing speeds you can hear just a light rumble until you go WOT.... I was considering running pipe out the side again to get rid of the little drone but since I dont use my truck often, I'll just leave it alone.... but to answer your question, if you are staying with your cats then put the hooker on you will have NO drone at all...

cats really keep the noise down. dumping before the axle/under the bed creates alot of vibration. running the pipes on out behind the tires will help with the noise.

Default hooker drone

i got pacesetter lt's, cats, true duals, dumped before the axle, and i have NO drone at all, just a nice deep tone. and a nice WOT sound, but as far as drone, i have none whatsoever. i also have the electric cutouts, wich i like too. Good for street or strip switching.
