I have the Trueflow intake system. You can read about it here:

I've had mine for about a year now and I really like it. I didn't really feel a difference in power but it sure cleaned up the engine compartment.

Agreed, I bought the true flow filter only, using it with the stock box, and running an Airaid MIT with it. IMO, better than using an open element cone filter for half the price. It might even help for me to do the airbox mod, but I haven't done it yet.

Is the trueflow filter an oiled type?

I've track tested my stock paper filter vs. a K&N drop in and I saw no improvement with the K&N. My setup was: My ram air mod (search my name for pics and data), airaid MIT, and the stock paper filter/K&N drop in.
I also ended up removing the MIT and I have not seen any loss in HP. I actually went the fastest with just the ram air, paper filter and exhaust... Everything else was stock.
I am happy with the paper filter, it also filters better since I'm putting in more dust and dirt from the ram air.

Airaid makes a drop-in filter. I just recently switched back to my stock kit w/ a K&N drop-in. My Airaid was over 3 years old and the filter was in bad shape (the pleats were all smashed up from dropping it too many times).
